Privacy & Terms
Portfolio Cards is a free browser-based editor from UX Jobs. This page explains what stays on your device, and — if you choose a paid feed post — the permission you give us to publish your card.
No account required
You can build and download cards without creating an account or signing in.
What stays in your browser
- Name, roles, links, photos, theme choices, and other edits are stored in local storage on this device so your work survives a refresh.
- Photos and cover images you upload are processed in the browser for preview and PNG export. Free downloads are generated on your device.
- Appearance preferences (for example light/dark mode) are also saved locally.
We do not use your card content for advertising. Clearing site data or using “Reset to demo” removes saved editor state from this browser.
Downloads
Exported PNGs save to your computer. They include the UX Jobs watermark. Downloading does not by itself submit your card to UX Jobs channels.
UX Jobs feed (paid)
If you use Download → Feed and check out, payment is handled by Stripe. Stripe processes payment details under its own privacy policy. We may receive order metadata (such as tier and name on the card) needed to fulfill a post. Your card image is transmitted to us only when you complete checkout, and only to fulfill your order.
Publishing your card & permission
Before checkout you confirm a short permission. By completing a paid feed order you:
- Confirm you have the rights to the photo and information on your card;
- Grant UX Jobs permission to publish your card — including your name, photo, and links — on UX Jobs platforms and channels (uxjobs.io, LinkedIn, Substack, and X) for promotional and community purposes;
- Agree we may schedule your post across the channels included in your tier.
The FEATURED banner is UX Jobs' own mark and appears only on cards we publish — it is not added to your free downloads. We may decline or remove any submission that doesn't meet our content standards, and you can ask us to take down a post we published by emailing the address below.
Content standards
Cards must not contain unlawful, hateful, harassing, deceptive, or infringing content, and must represent a real person with their permission. The editor blocks some disallowed language; we may also decline to post at our discretion.
Refunds & fulfillment
Paid posts go out on the schedule shown at checkout (and repeated in your confirmation email). If something goes wrong with your order, email ben@uxjobs.io and we'll make it right, including a refund where appropriate.
Feedback form
If you use Send feedback in the editor, your message (and optional email) is submitted through Formspree so we can receive it by email. Formspree processes that submission under its own privacy policy. We use the optional email only if we need to reply.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the editor is used — for example pages viewed, approximate location, and device type — so we can improve it. This uses cookies and is processed under Google's privacy policy. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
